La Cloche

If you ask a Mouscron resident where to enjoy a good, simple meal, chances are they will tell you: "La Cloche, of course!" This family brasserie is a true pillar of the city center, open daily, and has remained true to itself since 1771 (yes, that's right).

On the menu: generous and unpretentious local dishes. Mussels with Bush beer, steak with Roquefort sauce, Flemish carbonnade, roast chicken... It's hearty, flavorful, and pleases everyone. The atmosphere is friendly, sometimes a bit noisy, but that's part of the place's charm. In summer, the large covered terrace is perfect for enjoying a good meal outdoors.

In short: a warm, hassle-free place where one always returns with pleasure – whether for a quick lunch or a family dinner.

La Cloche is over 250 years old, and many people who visit Mouscron eat there as a tradition. Therefore, if you would like to discover this brasserie, be sure to reserve in advance as it is always crowded.
Because our table was in front of the entrance, and for three hours there were always dozens of people waiting for a table.
Dear people with reduced mobility, book in advance and let us know that you are 🧑🏻‍🦽‍➡️so that you can have a VIP seat 😉In summer, don’t go to La Cloche because the terrace is the only place that is not accessible to you. The age of the building prevents this (the same goes for the new terrace at Le Passé Simple), and this is the only drawback for us. However, La Cloche has the logo, as everything else is very well adapted.

Please note that all restaurants in Mouscron https://www.moresto.be/ have been awarded the logo for being 100% accessible to people with reduced mobility, so depending on the weather, you have a choice 🤩

But when it comes to parking, it’s not easy to find a spot nearby 🤞🏻
